Miguel has shared a surprise cover of Pussy Riot‘s recent song ‘Make America Great Again‘
Continuing his streak of covers, the Californian singer took to Twitter to share his a cappella of the Russian feminist punk rock group’s track. The new #whwcover video comes as the latest instalment in a series where he shares his take on different artists’ songs.
“You gotta hear the actual song, it’s legit a jam, feel good even!” he captioned on Twitter. See the full tweet and “emo” performance below.

‘Make America Great Again‘ is from Pussy Riot’s xxx EP which was released last year and was accompanied by a Jonas Akerlund-directed video. The video portrayed an amplified dramatization of the first days of the new USA’s president’s reign.
Miguel who released his last album, Wildheart, back in 2015 also recently covered SZA‘s CTRL track ‘The Weeknd‘.
