Skepta has unveiled his new video for the track ‘No Security’ from his fourth studio album, Konnichiwa.
Released on Halloween, but now getting the visual treatment, the ‘No Security’ video displays the London grime MC dancing in the rain, rearranging manikins and donning a chair surrounded by candles. Like peeking through the doors of some kind of fictional mental asylum, other scenes include Skepta dancing on a dinner party table, in rooms covered with newspaper clippings and scratching tallies onto dark and dingy walls.
At the 2017 BRIT Awards this week Skepta almost secured the top spot for Best British Male Solo Artist but was beaten by David Bowie. The ‘I Spy’ rapper also received a shout out from fellow collaborator and friend Drake during his video acceptance speech accepting Best International Male.
