Watch Stormzy call Theresa May a “paigon” at the GQ awards

Stormzy‘s year of success continued last night as he picked up the Best Solo Artist trophy at the GQ Awards and called Theresa May a “paigon“.

Presented by Jeremy Corbyn, the Croydon rapper took to the stage to deliver his acceptance speech where he was given the opportunity to “big up Jeremy Corbyn”, slam Theresa May, labelling her a “paigon”, and give thanks to his mum. Watch the righteous speech below where you can see Jezza giggling just out of shot.

The rapper’s debut chart topping album Gang Signs & Prayer was released earlier this year, with every song making its way into the UK Singles Chart. In addition to all this, the ‘Big For Your Boots‘ rapper has also been nominated for a Mercury Prize.
