Thundercat is the latest artist to grace the NPR offices for their infamous Tiny Desk Concert series.
Wearing a bright pink hoodie and backed by a three-piece band including Dennis Hamm on keys, Justin Brown on drums and Miguel Atwood-Ferguson on strings, the Ninja Tune signee performed three songs from his latest album Drunk: ‘Lava Lamp‘, ‘Friend Zone‘ and ‘Them Changes‘. Thundercat recently released the music video for his album’s single, ‘Show You the Way‘, which features Michael McDonald and Kenny Loggins. Prior to this the bass player and singer released the video for ‘Tokyo‘. Thundercat is currently on tour behind his album, Drunk.
