The xx’s Romy Madley Croft has announced her engagement.
The singer got engaged to designer and artist Hannah Marshall, and announced it via Instagram, writing: “Last night, a very special person asked me a very beautiful question… I said yes!”
A renowned and prolific designer and visual artist, Marshall has created stage-wear for Janet Jackson, Jessie Ware and Florence & the Machine among many others.
The band are currently gearing up to release their third album I See You, which comes out on January 13th. They revealed a new track from the record, Say Something Loving, earlier this week.
Fellow xx member Oli Sim recently spoke out about his struggle with alcoholism, saying he reached a point “where being the drunkest person in the room isn’t charming any more”.
Talking to Pitchfork, he said: “I was going out a lot with the excuse that I was celebrating – ‘celebrating’ – the past few years. Just fighting the idea of being an adult.”
