Friday saw the release of Young Thug‘s new album, BEAUTIFUL THUGGER GIRLS, which includes features from Snoop Dogg, Future and more.
Last night, the Atlanta, Georgia rapper stated on Twitter the reason that he released the project on 16th June, the anniversary of Tupac’s birthday. He said: “I dropped E.B.B.T.G on 2PAC’S bday because I’m the #newPAC I feel like I am the thug he didn’t get to become #SoImGoinFinishWhatHeStarted“.

Thugger now joins the list of other rappers who have compared themselves to the hip-hop legend.
Friday marked the release of the highly anticipated Tupac biopic, All Eyez On Me. According to Jada Pinkett Smith, a childhood friend of the rapper, the film is lacking in accuracy and has described the motion picture as “deeply hurtful“. See the tweets below.

Pac never said goodbye to me before leaving for LA. He had to leave abruptly and it wasn’t to pursue his career.
