“I honestly didn’t know how GOOD KARMA would be received, since it’s more of a man’s perspective on relationships,” Chance shares about the song with Music Crowns. He explains, “But, we started playing it at shows towards the end of 2023, and people took to it immediately. Strangely enough, it’s almost like women caught on to what we were sayin’ faster than the men did.”
With the new single, Chance tackles another universal topic with his signature lighthearted lyrics, magnetic rhythm and playful spin. “The hook is catchy and easy, but the message is what makes people smile,” Chance says. “He’s a dude who’s tryin’ to clean up his act, but he expects the rewards to start flowing in immediately. I can’t lie… it’s my take (or every guy’s take) on how karma should work. It’s just kinda funny that women recognize this is how we (men) are in real life. I mean, I’d take a gold star for taking out the trash or taking out the Mrs – who wouldn’t?! This guy wants the same, only his expectation might be a bit higher,” Chance joked.
