Paige King Johnson Showcases Vulnerability with “Just Like You” (Lyric Premiere)

North Carolina native, Paige King Johnson follows the release of her single Water Down the Whiskey with the release of her newest and highly anticipated single Just Like You.

I wrote this song in April of 2019 with a dear friend of mine from college, Regan Rousseau, about the give and takes of a relationship,” explains Paige. “I think the beauty of being loved by someone is that they accept you each day for all the parts of you, good and bad. And that’s when relationships work – when both people commit to loving each other a little more every day.

When listening to the song, King hopes to capture each act of kindness, appreciation, and altruistic behavior shown from your someone special.

We’re excited to premiere the lyric video for her new single below.

Following her lead single, Paige hopes to show a more vulnerable and tender side of her as both an artist and a songwriter with the release of “Just Like You”. With this special song release, Paige definite a new emerging artist that you want on your radar.

Along with this single release and lyric video release, I also have an official music video that goes along with “Just Like You”. I’m super excited about finally getting this additional visual experience out for people to see soon because it was so much fun to create,” explains Paige. “One of the best parts about the video filming process was bringing in country legend, and one of my heroes, Pam Tillis as the creative director and co-editor of the project. She brought so much creativity and a breath of fresh air to the song that really created a unique video. It’s easily my favorite project to date, and I can’t wait for everyone else to be able to experience it!
