PREMIERE: BLENDIN’ERA Turn Up the Heat with Euphoric New EP ‘Child of Fortune’

Germany’s genre-defying music collective BLENDIN’ERA are primed to dominate summer 2025 with their electrifying new EP Child of Fortune, landing June 6th and we premiere it here at Music Crowns. Fueled by sun-soaked grooves, international collaborations, and an unwavering love for dance pop, the five-track release showcases a crew at the top of their creative game.

At the helm are longtime collaborators Rick T. (aka DJ Abstract), Castor Troy, and Rob Fischer — three producers with decades of shared history and a knack for crafting soundscapes that blur the lines between the underground and the mainstream. Having cut their teeth in Frankfurt’s iconic Funkadelic club and earned major label cred with releases on Universal, Sony, and Warner, the trio now steer BLENDIN’ERA as a fully-fledged creative hub — bringing in rising stars like LauRAW and SaDBoY, and working alongside global visual artists to complete the experience.

Leading the charge is the title track Child of Fortune, a high-octane blend of pulsing beats, shimmering synths, and catchy toplines delivered by Cape Town’s Tom Kingwell. It’s dancefloor-ready, but not without heart — tapping into themes of chance, connection, and those unforgettable nights where everything just clicks. If you like your pop with both polish and pulse, this one’s for you.

Across the EP, BLENDIN’ERA deliver a bold statement: dance music can still surprise you. Whether it’s late-night introspection or hands-in-the-air euphoria, Child of Fortune covers the emotional spectrum while keeping feet firmly moving. It’s slick, soulful, and completely alive — a celebration of the global dance community and the kind of music that lingers long after the night ends.

With Child of Fortune, BLENDIN’ERA are making it very clear: this summer belongs to them.
