Hotel Ugly are renowned as one of the modern days biggest artists. Currently sitting at #311 on the Spotify charts, we exclusively premiere their first release of 2023, ‘Action Figures Fighting’ at Music Crowns.
Taking a slightly new direction in terms of sound, the R&B pop kings take a more lo-fi pop approach in this fun-filled and euphorically catchy track. Vince’s vocals stand above the crowd once again, with the familiar Spanish guitar chords sitting so well underneath. The production is compact and stylish once again, and the bedroom pop vibe is running true whilst still sitting alongside ‘Shut Up My Moms Calling’ and other viral hits that have catapulted Hotel Ugly’s success.
We love the change, and we hope this is not the only release of their this year. The Billboard 100 artist delivers with ‘Action Figures Fighting’, where Vince says “My producer friends and I were all goofing around in the studio one day when we all grabbed an object that made some sort of sound and started jamming. We shook, tapped, jiggled and strummed these objects and instruments until we created this beauty that we now call Action Figures Fighting.”
