Continuing to pioneer in her own brand of unique power-punched-pop, Coventry, UK artist Loveday has it all covered. From creative design to fully fledged production, she takes control in all aspects of what it takes to be a modern day artist, and does so with a cutting edge that stands above the noise. Especially in such an overcrowded genre, Loveday has meticulously crafted her own sound that still appeals to the masses, whilst also sitting in her own lane entirely.
We exclusively premiere her luscious new single ‘Peppermint’, out today. In the realms of Ellie Dixon and Orla Gartland, Loveday concocts a chaotic but very enjoyable brand of pop that sticks in your head for days on end. Clearly having a knack for those pop-woven ear-worms, her eclectic and clever brand of production gives her a unique platform to shine, and she does so in spades with ‘Peppermint’.
She says “Peppermint is about starting a new romance and not conforming to the rules and regulations of a “normal” relationship. It’s about being part of a romance that is refreshing and works for the people involved, without caring what less open minded people have to say about it. The song also expresses my confusion towards love; feeling that somebody is right for you but not being totally sure what that means. This song has great personal meaning to me because this is my life at the moment, I’m still living it.”
Interesting and intriguing, we implore to check out this multi disciplined artist out today, and we’re sure you won’t be disappointed.
