PREMIERE: New Album from Master Of The Melancholy Remayn

If there is one thing Remayn has an irrefutable talent for, it is creating deep, moody soundscapes that swell with melancholia and emotion. His new release, titled ‘Him Always, Them Sometimes, Her Forever’ overflows with some of the most ravishing sonic moments I have heard all year.

‘Fata Morgana,’ which is the second track on the project, is by far my favorite one. Remayn’s voice is a thing to be experienced. His tone is so pure and undiluted. His delivery on this track ranges from gentle levitation to heavenly ascension. It swells and overflows from verse to chorus. The chord progression in the chorus is easily what makes this my favorite track. It is a hard one to beat, but there is not one bad song on the entire project. ‘Pink Skies’ is another favorite. It is very expansive and has an exquisite ambiance.

‘Him Always, Them Sometimes, Her Forever’ is something special. It is the kind of project that cannot be replicated. Remayn has an uncanny ability to create a mood that is inescapable. It is thoughtful music with a strong, desolate nuance to it. I love sad music because it has the ability to emotionally reset me. I don’t think I am alone in that experience. Remayn is one of my favorite go-to’s when I need that recharge.
