Conrad Ashton is back, with another epic track – and ‘Those Were the Days’ is a invitation to reflect on life whilst also letting your hair down. A rock banger with damn catchy melodies, arena-worthy rhythm section and country-style guitars, this song is sure to have you dreaming of a dance floor. Ashton is here to lift your spirits. His powerful lead voice reminisces about good times spent with the special people in your life. So turn the volume up and listen, let the music course through your veins!
This latest single is a full-band recording of the acoustic track of the same name that was on Ashton’s EP “No Post On Sundays” from August 2020. Ashton is inspired by the likes of The Who, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles & Elvis, and you can truly hear these classic influences in this song. He has been releasing lots of material since 2020, including his stand-out tracks ‘The Longest Night’ and ‘Celebrate Life’ which you should absolutely check out too.
