PREMIERE: Rock Artist Krantz Takes Listeners on a Journey Through Heartbreak to ‘Louisiana’

For fans of alternative and psychedelic rock, Krantz is delivering groundbreaking tracks that feel just as authentic in the 2020s as they would in the early 2000s. With a brand new single launching exclusively on Music Crowns the day before its global release, listeners can dive into the world of ‘Louisiana’ and all its heartbreaking details.

Aptly titled after the state where Krantz’s ex-love left him stranded and “knee-deep in the swamp,” the single delivers powerful electric guitar and captivating vocals. With years of industry experience under his belt, the singer is well-versed in inviting listeners into a world of his creation based on his experiences, for better or worse.

The “Mississippi-Delta blues” are deeply infused into the storyline of ‘Louisiana’ as Krantz finds himself stranded in the state without the woman he met after she disappears as abruptly as she arrived. With his life suddenly upside down, Krantz is forced to pick up the pieces and wonders why “everybody’s crazy about New Orleans” when all the city has brought him is pain.

Krantz has traveled to all corners of the United States and beyond in his time as a touring artist, but this track sheds a special light on the southern United States, where Krantz currently resides. While ‘Louisiana’ finds Krantz adamant to “never set foot in Louisiana again,” it’s heartening that even the most negative moments of our lives can inspire the journey from confusion to enlightenment.

“‘Louisiana’ is a song about heartbreak and how it’s interesting that anything from a place, food, song, or movie can be tainted by the memory of someone who hurt you, no matter how much you loved that thing before it became associated with that person. We used that concept to write this song about meeting and falling in love with someone in Louisiana. It’s hard to return to a place when all you feel is the memory of heartbreak. I wrote this with my good friends Joel King and Sheyna Gee.” -Krantz

Krantz has knocked 2000s angst and reflection out of the park with this new release. In just one song, Krantz pours his heart out and refuses to be contained. Like many alternative rock artists before him, Krantz is one that you won’t forget about once you’ve experienced his specific brand of magic. His authentic voice and revealing lyrics are memorable and entrancing, and we can’t wait to see what’s coming next.
