Little Mix: The Search finalists Melladaze have released their debut single, a break-up anthem called “I H8 U”. The song is available to stream now on all platforms.
Megan, Ellie, Lauren, Liv, and Aisli met for the first time when they were put together by Little Mix to form a “girl dance group” for their TV contest. Melladaze appeared on the show last year, and despite being runners-up, they stayed together as they formed a strong bond.
Speaking about their debut single, the group have said: “We all go through stuff in our lives, and we wanted our fans to hear a song like this and feel uplifted,” the group explain. “We’d been working to find the perfect song for our first release. We’d got a few contenders, but then we wrote this in one session and just knew it was the one.”
The unreleased video for the track shows the group going through the creative process of writing the track, with their five unique personalities shining through.
