911 Reveal New Single from Forthcoming Album ‘Illuminate: The Hits and More’

Classic 90’s boy band 911 are continuing their long-awaited comeback with the brand new album ‘Illuminate: The Hits and More’.

Since appearing on the hugely successful ITV show The Big Reunion, the trio have rekindled their dedicated fanbase and set about recording new material. ‘2 Hearts, 1 Love’ is the breathtaking first single from the new album. The anthemic track sees the band back to their best, blending infectious vocal lines within a classic pop backing. Having both a nostalgic and contemporary edge, the sensational single will resonate with existing fans whilst also opening their music up to a new, younger audience. Certainly, their honesty and storytelling on The Big Reunion quickly charmed viewers of the show and the band are set to capitalise upon this with ‘Illuminate: The Hits and More’.

Known for their collection of signature hits that include the likes of ‘Bodyshakin’ and ‘A Little Bit More’, the band were one of only five acts to score 10 consecutive Top Ten hits in the 90’s. Enjoying four hit albums between the period 1997-1999, as well as numerous sellout tours, 911 became a global smash. With chart success in the US and Asia, the band had it all but the intensity that came with the band saw them split, announcing this to teary-eyed fans live on Radio 1 back in February 2000. Since the comeback earlier this year, the band have already undertaken a 16 date sell out arena tour around the whole of the UK.

Now fully refreshed and bursting with ideas, the band (formed of Lee Brennan, Jimmy Constable and Simon “Spike” Dawbarn) have channeled their recent experiences into ‘Illuminate: The Hits and More’. A collection of 7 hits and 7 new songs, the album signals the band’s intent to reclaim their spot in the charts.

The album will be released on 8th September and is now on iTunes for pre-order https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/illuminate…-hits-more/id699293977
