A Vaudeville Singer-songwriter Adjoa Skinner from Buffalo, NY who after spending two years working in Africa decided to pursue her career as a singer-songwriter in Los Angeles.

Soon after moving there she was discovered by Grammy Award Winning Producer Charlie Peacock.

Classically & Jazz trained with over 20 years of professional experience in music, Skinner has performed on 3 different continents and is a sought after performer, teacher, session vocalist and multi-instrumentalist. She has opened for Grammy Award Winners The Civil Wars, Charlie Peacock, Amy Grant, Beth Hart, Reeve Carney (Spiderman The Musical), Daniel Bedingfield, The Voice’s Tony Lucca, American Idol’s Jackie Tohn, The Jonas Brothers.

Adjoa has performed in the US, Canada and Europe with the release of her new album “Songs For Tall Women & The Short Men Who Love Them” with guest Artists Tap Dancer Andrew Nemr, Sister group SHEL and Norwegian Pop Star Maria Arredondo. Adjoa released her new EP “The Sun” and acoustic album “Unfinished” this past January 2013. Skinner was also a finalist in the Grammy Museum’s Be Heard Showcase this April 2013 and the International Songwriters Competition.

Adjoa is a sought after Songwriter and lyricist and was chosen by Norwegian Tenor Torstein Sodal to write the lyrics to the famous Edvard Grieg Song “Morning Mood”. All in all, Adjoa is the total package and is moving not only herself but everyone she is connected with towards their destiny.
