Ancient Stereo are a Florida rock band from Tallahassee.
The band was founded in 2010 by Fernando Diaz as a means to perform songs he had written in a live setting, collaborating with as many musicians as possible in the process.

Anthony Alderiso – Drums (2010-current)
Cassie Davis – keyboards, vocals (2010-2011)
Fernando Diaz – songwriter, rhythm guitar, lead vocals (2010-current)
Riley Morgan – lead guitar, songwriting(2010-current)
Creet Osiredla- Bass (2010-May 2012)
Michael Peterson – percussion, backup vocals (April 2011-May 2012)
Bob White – percussion, backup vocals (2010-February 2011)
They can be best described as a fusion of the blues-driven electric guitar sound of the 60s combined with 90s alternative rock, sprinkled with ambient experimentalism. Interesting to note is that Diaz has stated that for the most part, his lyrics are self-contained miniature novels, having more in common with J.K. Rowling and Philip Pullman than with Paul McCartney.
In an age where super hero movies and films adapted from fantasy novels capture the imagination of our nation’s youth like never before, perhaps this is the start of something new.
