Babé Sila unveils cathartic high fashion music video for ‘Hole’

Arriving at just the right time, Babé Sila, the London-based Hungarian model/RnB artist has released the music video for her jazz-infused soulful jam ‘Hole’.

Taken from her forthcoming EP Plum, which is expected this May, the track is just what we need during these times of heightened uncertainty and worry; a song of hope and overcoming challenging everyday situations. Directed by Dora Riederauer, the video features Babé emerging from her own cocoon. As she sings of learning how to combat her anxieties and fears, “When your world is upside down, move your arms up to the ground”, the video traverses ‘Hole’s upbeat rhythms with shots of free dance and pure positivity.

“Whenever I feel anxious I turn to creating – music helps and music heals. For me ‘Hole’ is laughing in anxiety’s face.” Explains Babé, “The line “It´s a hole you’ve been falling through” is inspired by the infamous Alice in Wonderland moment, when Alice falls through the rabbit hole, not knowing where the sky or ground is – which is something all of us feel sometimes. I tried to make something beautiful out of an uncomfortable state.”
