Buzz HD is a Canadian hip hop artist with an impressive background – known for his work as a lyricist, particularly within Produce Section, an underground hip hop production team currently working with former members of legendary hip hop groups such as A Tribe Called Quest, Love and Hip Hop’s Consequence, amongst others.
When he’s not busy producing and teaming up with other artists, Buzz HD runs his own solo career, writing and performing his own material. His latest single is a track called ‘Chuck Bass’. This tune is a taste of what this Toronto-based performer can do, keeping the lyrical flow on the forefront of the track, while beautiful melodic loops ring in the background, perfectly interacting with a 808-type drum machine, pumping out tight grooves that lift the song up.

The cool thing about this track on a technical point of view is the self-consciousness of the arrangements: Buzz is aware of his skills, and the song is aptly built around it. Everything on the track is a great fit with the low-end depth of his vocal approach as well as the direct lyrics, and this chemistry between the vocals and the background is what truly makes this song stand out.
