Danny Trashville grew up in the music-rich environments of rural Oklahoma and Nashville,Tennessee where he learned to value traditional music styles amid the innovation of some of country music’s greatest legends. His performance career began as lead guitarist with various bands before deciding to focus on writing his own material as a solo performer. Drawing on his country roots, Danny has found solid outlet for his own guitar pickin’ vision of Americana with songs spanning barroom tales, cultural satire, and introspective journeys.
He released his self-titled debut album in 2009 and spent the next year bringing his music to a growing fan base at over 250 shows. In 2011, Danny returned to his favourite songwriting haven, a small acreage near Pink, Oklahoma to work on new material for his next album tentatively titled “The Great Unknown”. The songs represent a new direction in Trashville’s ever expanding horizons. From gypsy jazz and folk ballads, to rowdy songs that make a statement on consumerism. Once again, there’s something for everybody, young and old alike. Danny Trashville has become a seasoned songwriter/performer with a commanding stage presence.
