Doll Set Tones

Doll Set Tones

Doll Set Tones are a melodic rock band based in Maldon, Essex.

The band have been together for six years and have produced four albums of original material.

Lucky 13, Freedom to Dream, Silence the Prophets, and Melophobia.

The band started when singer/songwriter Lee Probert hooked up again with his old friend and Bass player Ross Fifield (who was formally in Lee’s old band the Blue Sunset).

Local percussionist and all round nice fella James Bacon (Jimi Stix) was next to join, he was recommended to Lee through his brother nick who used to attend poetry readings

So with the line-up almost complete last to join but most essential was Keith Jackson (K Fingers Jackson) who with his haunting lead parts and kick ass solos gave DST that final squeeze of lemon.

Most recently DST have just finished putting a Rock ‘n’ Roll covers album “You Kids Are Gonna Love It” together including an exclusive track written by David Probert.

There is a positive message of love and unity that runs throughout the heart of Doll Set Tones music – They try to capture the spirit of goodwill, enlightenment and friendship that in this often brutal world is sometimes hard to find.

It’s their constant mission to give people a taste of that onus whenever they catch a live show and remind them that we are all in this together!

“Rise up, Be Truthful, Keep Shining”.
