Duke & The Dry Cleaners announce themselves with killer single I Want To

Duke & The Dry Cleaners are a London based Acid Jazz group who began back in 2017, stemming from a studio project pioneered by frontman Oli Duke. Their debut offering ‘I Want To’ is loaded with glowing synth lines, hooky guitar, and string lines that could have been on Dua Lipa’s latest LP.

Discussing the release singer, keys players, co-producer and songwriter Oli Duke explains:

“Every time we ended a session on this track, whoever was involved would be humming that hook line over and over, and dancing along. I think that’s the point of most of my music to be honest, to share my experiences of being human but to frame them in a way that the music can pick you up, whatever is going on in your life.  Even if it’s a difficult time, there is always room to have a little dance and feel better about things. That sentiment definitely comes into play with this track.”

The band are set for big things in 2020 with more singles on the horizon in the not so distant future. Make sure you’re the first to know by following them on Spotify.
