It may have been his shy demeanor or perhaps the daily grind of life while being a dedicated father. But whatever it was that kept Kyle “Finesse” Richardson out of the public eye and off the big stage for so long has only made him more driven to achieve the success he knows he deserves. The humble but suave sounds of Finesse’s music can be seen in the expression of those who hear him. It’s clear; this talented, multi-faceted singer and songwriter’s time has come. It’s his turn to shine.
Kyle originally explored music at a young age performing in his local church choir until the year 2000 when he couldn’t hide his talents at East High School in Rochester NY. Every freshmen, senior and janitor heard of Kyle and heard his skill at various talent shows and in the school choir. After his graduation in 2004 he went to school in Batavia, NY where he majored in Communications and Media arts while continuing to pursue his passion for singing, songwriting and performing.
Today Finesse is being produced by MusiQ Korner Productions out of Atlanta as well as Sound Wayv Music Group from his hometown Rochester, NY. Recently he began working with a manager to take his career to the next level. Currently he is working with a group of writers on the up and coming albums for Brandon Richardson, Josh Roberson & Jay-L to name a few.
He has also opened for performers such as Jagged Edge, Silk, K. Michelle and has appeared on NBC’s The Voice, making it past the initial cut onto round one, where he had to remove himself to tend to family matters. His commitment to only produce the best can be felt when listening to his music. Finesse has set the stage to put his small city in Upstate New York on the map and is 100% committed to taking his performances to the next level – In other words, he is setting the scene on fire!
