Yorkshire born Hannah-Rei, brings a modern twist to an old-school soul sound. Being influenced by Stevie Wonder, John Legend, and Jessie J among others, Hannah-Rei’s music has a timeless quality and international appeal.
Deciding, at age 11, that being a singer-songwriter was the career for her, and adopting the “10,000 hour rule”, Hannah wrote a new song every day. Now she’s a LIPA music graduate, MBF Songwriting Award winner with an MA in Songwriting.
After a successful spell as one half of comedy songwriting duo, Rocky and Balls, and writing with various producers and artists in the US and Europe, Hannah released two solo EPs and wrote and produced her debut studio album Time To Play.
In 2013, Hannah will be promoting “Time To Play”, writing with some exciting artists and is already set to finish writing and recording next year’s releases.
