Establishing himself as the quintessential ‘Sound of Miami’, Henrix is continuing his ascension to the very top of the charts. Having his tracks supported by some of the world’s most acclaimed DJs including: Diplo, Tiesto, David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia, and Hardwell – Henrix has got some of the most influential DJs in the game supporting his cause. With the likes of Size Records, Mixmash, Cr2 Records and Universal Republic among the imprints releasing his sounds – Henrix seems to have no limits to what he can achieve.
After an astounding 2013 when he was named ‘Artist to Watch’ by Dancing Astronaut, The Beat Mill, and Fresh New Tracks, he is now continuing to release his unique brand of music and sharing it with the whole world. 2014 was also a big year for Henrix, having released a library of internationally received productions, and boasting substantial success on Beatport, with his tracks ‘Hit It’ and ‘Jumagee’. Henrix is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon and with his latest project ‘Universal Sound’ he is now heading towards closing this year with yet another potentially chart-topping hit.
‘Universal Sound’ kicks-off with a memorable synth riff, leading to a vocal-driven drop. It then takes us into an intergalactic journey, with a space-man voice ascension, which sets-off into a pumped-up version of the initial riff, followed by yet another short drop which creates anticipation for the main event of the production. Henrix devices a series of clever drops and peaks, showing extraordinary control of dynamic changes and making the track sound punchier. The vocal parts and some of the sounds Henrix uses truly justify the name ‘Universal Sound’, as he gets inspiration from outer-space, making his sound palette particularly interesting and unique.
This latest project showcases all of Henrix’s skills and talent, whilst giving all the reasons for the success he’s achieved during these recent years. There is only one way to describe ‘Universal Sound’ – it is an out-of-this-world track, irrefutably worth listening to and downloading (for free). There is surely much more yet to come from Henrix as he is unquestionably a serious talent that’s making rapid moves to the top of the dance music food chain.
