Joseph Sant is set to release his debut EP, Sea White Salt

If you’re a massive fan of Chris Isaak’s iconic single, “Wicked Games”, then you’ll be in good company with this brand new artist, Joseph Sant and his upcoming debut EP, “Sea White Salt”.

Beautifully blurred soundscapes introduces that four-track set through “Horse at the Beach”, where Sant’s beautifully-faint (and arguably) Brian Ferry-esque vocals washes across the three-and-a-half minute composition.

The highlight of the EP is the lead single, “Nor’easter”. Following the intensity of previous effort, “Sea White Salt”, it lifts the mood where Sant experiments with unlikely genres, new wave and a dash of country western music.

With such rich hypnotic textures floating throughout, “Sea White Salt” is one of those collections that can be comforting on those winter nights and could earn the New Yorker the much deserved recognition.

Sea White Salt EP is out on 14th January. For now, listen to “Nor’easter”.
