Young East London hailing emcee and Sony RCA signee, Maxsta, has been making waves since the release of his 2010 street anthem “East London Is Back” (which even caught the ear of London’s rhyme king Kano, who was so impressed he dropped a verse on the remix), fast forward to November 2012 and a few critically acclaimed mixtapes and EPs and the club smashing singles, “I Wanna Rock” and “Pop Off”, Young Max is about to take things to another level with his new EP Gear 6.

Leading up to the release, Maxsta launched #GEAR6SEASON, a weekly leak of audio and visual material from the EP. So every Tuesday at 6PM a new song will be released via his SoundCloud account and every Thursday at 6PM a Music Video will be released via some of the most influential online music portals.
The first track released is the poignant, reflective and observational “Streets”, taking a look at the environment and pitfalls surrounding Maxsta and many of the young men growing up in the inner city and the effects it has on their future.
