Chris Hau decided that he wasn’t satisfied with simply being able to surf or being able to play music. So, he combined them to make this impressive viral video.
The 25-year-old took to the waves to record a live version of Otis Redding’s ‘Sitting on the Dock of the Bay’. After understandably being put off by the Canadian winter, Hau was able to finally record the video in summer of 2013. The video was instantly a hit, appearing on media such as Good Morning America, the Huffington Post, and CBS.
Now the Canadian produces and creates content around the world, as well as recording some songs on dry land.
