Sometimes you can just look at an artist and tell that success isn’t just a possibility, it’s inevitable. Despite her young age, Naomi is undoubtedly one of those artists.
It’s not just the 19 year-olds voice, rich in emotion and with a depth that could be from a singer twice her age, or the presence that fills any stage from bars to stadiums. It’s the combination of those elements with a song writing ability that simply leaves jaws on the floor.
Drawing in influences from across the board, Naomi’s music already sounds the finished article. Think the edgy melancholy of Lorde, the irresistible melodies of Taylor Swift, the power and magnetism of Adele. Naomi is all these things and more.
Discovered after a song she wrote for her GCSE music exam led to her being featured on ITV Daybreak, the Manchester girl has been working with one of the world’s most successful producers, John McLaughlin (Busted, 911, Westlife), who together with Dave Thomas (Echo And The Bunnymen) and Jud Mahoney (Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Chris Brown) are helping her realise her vision of what she wants her music to achieve.

Already tipped for stardom by everyone from The Guardian and The Independent to Mizz Magazine, The Times, Music Week, Shout, BBC Radio and The Huffington Post, Naomi is now stepping it up with the recording of her new album, with the first single, the incredible Rivers Run a calling card for what is going to be the record that pushes this young talent firmly into the mainstream. It’s only a matter of time.
‘Rivers Run’ is out on 25th September 2015
