Luke Cusato takes the next place on the 12 Talents of Christmas campaign. Hailing from Cheshire the young singer/songwriter delivers a fantastic vocal/piano track, Blueskies, via his Widget, which we just couldn’t overlook. As the intro plays in you can’t help but feel immersed in the story that’s about to unfold.
Root1 picked Luke’s lead single taken straight from his debut solo project, Blueskies Sunrise. It’s an emotive and touching journey, where Lukes delicate yet mature vocal captivates from the start, and with a vocal tone and style way beyond his 18 years – in fact sounding like a cross between Alex Turner and Jeff Buckley – there’s all the more reason to enjoy the talent this young artists has.
It’s exciting to hear another talented British musician and with such an enjoyable delivery of both musicianship and vocals. Watch out for the name, it’s will be synonymous with quality music in years to come and one to watch in the next few that’s for certain.
