Fresh from a headline performance at Reading’s Oxjam takeover, the Munkinpure boys are raring to get back in the studio to record the full-length follow up to critically acclaimed EP “A Different Kind Of Beat”, which will this time rely upon their ever-expanding fan base.

The band has teamed up with online crowdfunding service Pledge Music www.pledgemusic.com/projects/munkinpure for a three-month campaign, aiming to raise production costs for the record, with a proportion of the proceeds going to The Dogs Trust. Through this process fans can become “Pledgers” by donating to the campaign, and unlock some great exclusive goodies, such as private performances, opportunities to appear in music videos and signed merchandise along the way.
Arriving three years ago from their native South Africa, Munkinpure have dived headfirst into the UK alternative rock scene and have since been making waves with their unique blend of guitar driven rock and catchy hooks, that embed themselves in your head and simply refuse to budge. After packing out legendary venues such as the Barfly and Half Moon, the trio are now set to take the UK by storm.
