Texas made, Louisiana raised Street$ (Street Money aka Streets) gives his debut release with Street Money: Road To Riches, hosted by DJ OnPoint.
This 24 yr old rapper and songwriter was born in Houston, Texas and raised in Franklinton, Louisiana. Music has always been a part of his life but originally had his sights set on the NFL. A torn ACL and hamstring injury derailed those plans. Not long after that, he dropped out of college in his junior year (2011). It was then he decided to pursue a music career.
I began writing songs, but was arrested later that year on felony charges. While released on papers I slowly began to get back into the music. Along with kip, King Dice, and Neos B, we are creating BlackTop Entertainment. I’ve worked with famed DJ, Trap-A-Holics, who hosted my demo Chump Change. I’ve also work with Mr. IsThisWhatYouWant, DJ OnPoint, himself. He hosted my debut mixtape, Street Money: Road to Riches, available on Datpiff. Growing up in the golden age of hip-hop, lyrics have always been a big emphasis on the creation process of my songs. I’ve never been afraid to grind for what I want and I want the world to hear my message.
