The Blue Screen Of Death

For Fans Of Foo Fighters, Queens Of The Stone Age

The Blue Screen Of Death is a welcome flush of energy to Britain’s stagnant rock scene. Getting the most out of stoner-rock riffs with pop-savvy melodies has resulted in a timeless collection of sure-fire hits – Chybucca Sounds

United by their love of 90’s computer games and Steven Seagal movies, the members of this Southampton, UK band possess an endearing level of social awkwardness eclipsed by a vast wealth of musical talent. Astutely self-aware and with a keen sense of humour they are able to produce music which is uninhibited by the expectations of others.

Blue Screen are purveyors of heavy rock with pop sensibilities. Often combining mighty riffs with catchy vocal melodies, they also have a penchant for the quirky.

Choosing to go almost entirely instrumental with their previous, self-titled mini album, which was recorded live at The Barbican Theatre, they demonstrated one side of their varied musical prowess and creative ability. But it is their energetic and entertaining live show that stands them out from the crowd.

Their new album – ‘Leave The Future Behind’ is out now

Incredibly catchy tracks…a very enjoyable listening experience – Rock Regeneration

A very strong debut album – Room Thirteen
