Without the Bird is a Parisian based indie pop outfit formed in 2012. The band consists of multi-instrumentalists Pete Mc Grane (co-founder of the internationally acclaimed pop group Carosel) and Younick, two tireless music junkies who have devoted their lives to the the craft.
Made all the more striking by Younick’s unusual vocal sound, they meld hook-filled melody with moody atmospheric instrumental arrangements.
Their new single San Jose, due for release in the Spring, is a road-trip of a song.
The band are currently finishing off their debut album, which critics have likened to The XX and Beach House.
