Ciinema release new video for single ‘Planet Eyes’

After the drop of their debut single ‘Planet Eyes’, alt-pop band Ciinema immediately started to turn heads and become rising starts within the scene. Influences by the likes of Little Dragon, Phoebe Bridgers, FKJ, and Tom Misch, the track is able to surround you with incredible textures through dreamy synths, spacey guitars and gorgeous vocals. These elements are brought together with soulful grooves only pull you further into the track.

Today marks the release of the accompanying music video, capturing the same fantastical and vibrant aesthetic that the song does. Blurry purples, greens and blues are paired with layers of close up shots bring you into the world of ‘Planet Eyes’. It’s beautifully low-key in a way that actually makes it the centre of attention, a perfect complement to the music.

Speaking on the new video, the band says, “The Planet Eyes music video is a spaced-out daydream that muses on flirtation, wonderment, and the endless possibilities which romantic ambiguity inspires mentally.

With such a strong debut release, we are beyond excited to see where this sound is taken in the full EP, and on into future releases for Ciinema.
