With their eagerly-awaited new album ‘Soft Focus Features’ expected to land on the 3rd November through acronym Records, fast-rising singer and songwriter Megan Nash has now unveiled the shimmering new video for the recently shared single ‘Coffee’.
Much like what we have heard from the new record already, ‘Coffee’ delivers more of that warm and heartfelt direction they have been producing these last few years. With a distinctly lilted voice layered over a bed of smooth and sensual folk vibes, the new visuals aim to highlight the song’s rustic roots and gives us a raw insight into Megan’s own captivating persona.
Adding about the track, Nash describes it as “being afraid that when someone realizes you have a mental illness they will leave. It’s probably the most vulnerable I’ve been with my lyrics so far. Not sure how it will feel to have it out in the world but I was honest with myself when I wrote it in the Fall of 2019 – heartbroken but hopeful, nervous but willing.”
