Watch Mallrat make her US television debut on ‘The Late Late Show With James Corden’

The girl from the ‘burbs of Brissie is doing Australia proud

Australia’s very own pop genius Mallrat made her US television debut this week on The Late Late Show With James Corden.

On Tuesday night, Mallrat, real name Grace Shaw, took to the stage with her band to perform her latest single, ‘Charlie’.

Chockfull of heartfelt lyricism and delivery, Shaw endeared herself to the audience with ‘Charlie’. The song choice demonstrating perfectly why Australia, and now the rest of the world, has fallen in love with the girl from Brissie.

2019 has been a big year for Shaw; touring the globe with a string of solo shows and festival appearances.

In between touring, Shaw was hard at work producing and writing new music. The fruits of her labour came in the form of her third EP, Driving Music, which dropped in September.

And, the year might be almost over, but Shaw isn’t ready to relax just yet. Starting November 7, Shaw will head to Ireland, the UK and Europe for a short solo tour.

The tour will see her perform in Dublin on November 7, London on November 8 and Amsterdam on the 11th. Germany will be the fourth and final stop, with a show in Cologne on the 13th and Hamburg on the 15th.
