Andre Williams is a talented young singer who has been singing from a young age. His voice was recognised at the age of 9 or 10 when he sang hymns in church. However, from there he had to combat many obstacles. When he was 11 he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma and had to go through chemotherapy, blood transfusions and a bone marrow transplant. Sadly he also lost his adoptive father around this time.
Williams overcame cancer and came through the other side. He continued performing and took part in many competitions and other concerts throughout his life. The musician also lost his mother after a courageous battle with cancer in 2011. However, once again he continued to pursue his passion and has since said that he gets his resolute tenacity from his mum.
