Using a number of electronic devices and a range of innovative animation techniques, Brunettes Shoot Blondes‘ video for ‘Knock Knock‘ is the coolest thing you’ll see today.
The love story spans across an incredible 14 screens and follows the journey of a longing rabbit-man pursuing the one he loves. The story doesn’t disappoint, ending on a high note with his love finally falling for him (quite literally), the video for ‘Knock Knock‘ will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy inside. In addition to the soothing soundtrack and story, the genius concept and execution is the video’s main attraction. With animated hand-drawn illustrations and numerous takes to get the live action animation right, the crew’s hard work definitely paid off – and everybody had a fun time doing it.
The idea for the video was developed by the members of the band, who directed the project as well.
The main concept of the video was to show how different graphic elements may cooperate on different devices to create one story.
