August 26, 2014 – Amsterdam, Netherlands: – SKYLAB arouses a feeling to discover new places, new friends, wherever and whatever they may be. In collaboration with the Delft Tech university, they managed to manipulate sound waves from space and melt them together with earthly vibes such as house, disco, funk & rock.
After several experiments with different frequencies, Skylab decided to start sharing their sounds with the world. Now SKYLAB teamed up with Bikini tracks and new waves were modified into a EP called ‘For the Ones Gone’ These new vibes will guide you to a place and sound you might find outer space.
About Skylab
Impossible to point out the exact moment that the Skylab collective was born; their spiritual energy of funky vibes has been around for light years. However, in their secret Lab somewhere in the universe, the search for the right sound had a turning point in 2010. That was the moment when they received unidentified sound waves from space.
