Listen to ‘Tough Love’, the second posthumous track from Avicii

A second song has been released from Avicii’s forthcoming posthumous album, TIM.

The Swedish DJ, whose real name was Tim Bergling, was found dead on April 20th last year at 28-years-old.

His family later confirmed he had taken his own life.

Written and produced by the late artist alongside Vincent Pontare and Salem Al Fakir, ‘Tough Love’ has been described as staying “true to the infectious nature of Avicci’s previous work and his desire to discover new sounds.”

Fakir and Pontare were both longtime collaborators of Berglings, working with him on hits such as ‘Silhouettes,’ ‘Hey Brother’ and ‘Without You.’

The pair utilized almost-finished songs with emails and texts about the music that Avicii send before his passing in an effort to complete the posthumous album “as close to his vision as possible.”

The song comes just a month after ‘SOS’, the first track from the upcoming album, was released which features vocals from Aloe Blacc.

Last month, a biography depicting Bergling’s life was announced.

The book set to be shared next year, and will be penned award-winning Swedish journalist Måns Mosesson.

Proceeds from the biography will go to the Tim Bergling Foundation, a charity launched in the Swedish DJ’s memory by his family.
