The official Avicii biography is coming in 2020

A biography depicting Avicii’s life is set to be shared next year, it has been revealed just days after the one year anniversary of his death.

Avicii, real name Tim Bergling, was found dead at 28-years-old on April 20th last year – it was later confirmed that he had taken his own life.

The book is set to be penned award-winning Swedish journalist Måns Mosesson and will be published by the Swedish publishing house, Albert Bonniers Förlag.

Proceeds from the biography will go to the Tim Bergling Foundation, a charity launched in the Swedish DJ’s memory by his family.

On the foundation, Avicii’s family said: “initially focus on supporting people and organizations working in the field of mental illness and suicide prevention.”

Earlier this month, Avicii’s first posthumous track, ‘SOS’, was shared.

The song, which features vocals from Aloe Blacc, is the first to be taken from Avicii’s upcoming posthumous album, Tim.
