Ed Sheeran collaborates with Kurupt FM for Comic Relief

Ed Sheeran has teamed up with Kurupt FM for Comic Relief.

The artist worked with the cast of BBC3’s People Just Do Nothing to create a comedy sketch in aid of Comic Relief. The charity show will air on 24th March of this year.

In anticipation of the show, the BBC have released part of the sketch which sees Kurupt FM discuss who their surprise collaborator could be. On entering the studio they meet Sheeran who they mistake as an employee of the studio.

While discussing the upcoming sketch, Sheeran said “It’s true that I’ve been in the studio working on a track with the People Just Do Nothing guys AKA Kurupt FM. They’ve have taken our sessions away to mix, and I can’t wait to hear the end product. I totally trust Kurupt to produce something amazing and, without jinxing things, I think it could be up there with my best work.”

The song and video will be released on the same day as the Comic Relief show.

The singer-songwriter has recently said he is looking to audition members for his own boyband, who will then join him on his stadium tour.
