The incredible multitalented Tash Sultana has done it again. Live on Australia’s Triple J radio station, the rock goddess got to deliver her version of MGMT’s classic ‘Electric Feel’ as part of their Like A Version segment.
Tash Sultana’s elevating version brims with her signature sound and sends you into a lucid day-dream from start to finish. Captivating, immersing and crammed with feeling, Australia’s star girl goes above and beyond with this one – and she enjoys the hell out of it. She experiments with the sound, toying with the original version, almost teasing it.
Coming in at just under nine minutes, you would expect her to have explored all variations of the original – you were wrong. By the looks of things Tash could have jammed to this one for a good hour or so, and it would still sound fresh and original throughout. Not only is Tash Sultana‘s rendition a wistful entrancing masterpiece, but the way she loses herself in the sound is enough to send tingles down your spine. Tash has made her mark on many covers during her musical journey, and now she can add this one to her little black book.
The enchanting global sensation is currently embarking on a worldwide tour but be warned if you see available tickets snatch them up quickly as they won’t last long.
