With a wealth of experience Walshe and Murray bring us their new single ‘Too Sly To Die’. Irish folk themes run through the heart of this track making it an even more poignant tribute to late band member – Paul Walshe.
Fuelled by classic Irish folk influences with a Punk flavour, ‘Too sly to die’ showcases how diverse The winter codes are; bringing together two styles for the first time, and successfully at that.
Essences of anger and acceptance bleed through the track, reflected in the chaotic texture underlining a sweet and catchy melody. Expertly done by Walshe and Murray their craftsmanship cannot be understated.
I look forward to seeing how they further their tribute and immortalise Paul within the LP.
