Following the success of her single ‘Stay With Me’ which reached the Top 10 in the iTunes singer-songwriter charts earlier this year, rising star Izzy Frances returns with a dreamy new ballad ‘Safety’. The track is a demo version of her 2019 release, offering a stripped-back rendition which centres around her ethereal vocals and delicate piano melodies. Complete with emotive lyricism, Izzy has hit the mark once again.
Discussing her new release, Izzy said: “I wrote ‘Safety’ over two days with Drew Lawrence and Shani Rose in Drew’s home studio in LA. This recording was also done over those 2 days with two vocal takes and I wanted to release it as I think it really captures the raw emotion behind the song. ‘Safety’ is about being brave and being bold and embracing who you really are. Too often we hide the darkest parts of ourselves and stop ourselves from truly connecting and living. ‘Safety’ is about releasing your truth and learning to love and live fully and vibrantly.”
Since making her debut in 2019, UK based Izzy Frances has received consistent support from BBC Introducing, was a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition 2021, and has featured in a number of notable Spotify editorial playlists.
