Konata Small returns with his latest single ‘With A Bang’ featuring Disciple Theory, showcasing their ability to push boundaries and discover new musical frontiers.
He is most recognised for his work on Call of Duty, Fortnite, SEGA, Valorant, Disney+, CBS, NFL, and HBO, among other platforms. After working for several years with Los Angeles sync firm Lyric House, he has succeeded in landing campaign after ad that rules the trailer hip-hop landscape.
Konata Small and Fortnite collaborated on the hugely popular song “Ruckus” in 2019. The song, which also appeared in the trailer for the game’s Chapter 2, amassed millions of plays in total, making it one of Epic Games’ most popular releases. “Ruckus” was included in many Spotify and Apple Music playlists and was the top-sought song on Shazam. The first song that international DJ Diplo selected for Monday Night Football on ESPN was “Ruckus.” Among other sites, Konata has been highlighted on XXL, Genius, and Cheddar News.
Inspired by the pivotal moments in Konata Small’s life that happened in New York when he was a bystander to a shootout that happened as a preteen. “he event was the catalyst for change that eventually moved me to South Florida which is where I met God, and where I was introduced to the talent that I yield now in hip-hop as an artist/songwriter/rapper. So for me, it all started with a bang. This is my story,” he comments.
