‘Is It Me, Hennessy?’ is a dual single release from exciting West-London artist Tayah. The two tracks of the same name cleverly deliver alternate interpretations of the same theme, with lyrics based around the bittersweet nature of love.
Drawing influence from the likes of Patrice Rushen, Slum Village, Missy Elliot, and Mary J. Blige, Tayah’s smooth R&B sound is as soulful as it is edgy. The multi-talent is also the founder of the socially conscious brand Thee Resilient Ones that admirably seeks to create a safe space for relatable conversation, acceptance through merch and community projects.
