Belle Roscoe are a new wave indie folk / rock band.
They originally hail from Melbourne, Australia and have been building a solid underground buzz in Europe and the UK recently.
Led by siblings Matty & Julia Gurry, Belle Roscoe has spent time in Europe defining their sound & collaborating with European musicians and renowned DJ producer Luuk Cox (Shameboy, Girls in Hawaii, Stromae, & MLCD).
‘Soho Shoes’ is the first single release, ahead of their 3rd album release (scheduled for 2022).
‘Soho Shoes’ sees Belle Roscoe unleash catchy rock melodies, a captivating bass line and energetic vocals that unleash powerful lyrics at every corner.
The track was recorded in Nashville (pre-Covid), 100% analogue with Grammy award winning producer, Matt Ross-Spang (Jason Isbell, Margot Price) & Andrija Tokic (Alabama Shakes).
The video captures “dystopian-esque” London during lockdown & is a call to arms to some of the great politically minded artists of our time.
Along side a dancing walrus, the video incorporates Banksy inspired animations & hidden messages of truth.
